So That's What Those Things Are For!

Last night was nursing class.  Still at the community center above the Giant in Willow Grove. The class was packed.  The nurse said that was a sign of a busy Summer!  She gave us a book titled "So That's What Those Things Are For".  Some light bathroom reading.  Amy brought Melissa's American Girl doll.  Some of the girls had stuffed animals but most seemed to have Cabbage Patch dolls.  We practiced holding the baby. The cross hold and the football hold.  We saw another video of not so attractive people feeding their babies and we got to play with the pumps.  It all seems so complicated, with the different kinds of poop to look out for and the  whole latching thing.  Amy's willing to give this a try so wish us luck!

I wonder whose car this is?

This morning.  We are now at 35 weeks.  She still feels good but is starting to have some end of pregnancy symptoms.  Her hands and feet started swelling and she is no longer wearing her rings.  She may be having some mild Braxton-Hicks contractions. She has some shortness of breath and her joints have started to loosen up so she has been a bit more clumsy.  She still looks great though!

I woke up and went to sit out with the girls a little.  They do this all day.

Amy usually leaves before me but not for long.  Her last day, probably for the next year, is Wednesday. Then I can wake her up in the morning when I'm getting ready!
