So, when I wrote last night, it was during halftime of the Eagles Bears game. The Eagles were down 6-3. That was a wild second half. This is how we all felt:
Well as you know by now, the Eagles were up 16-15 with seconds left. The Bears kicked the game winning field goal, but no, the Eagles had called time out just before the snap. When they tried for the second time, it doinked of the left goal post and doinked off the bottom post and landed on the field. #doinkdoink. (yes, doink is the technical term) I think this whole city is stunned that we actually won.
Speaking of Eagle's games, last Sunday, the Eagles needed a win in Washington and a loss by the Vikings to make the playoffs at 9-7. The boys were excited about the prospects.
We went to an awesome local Italian market to get stuff to make for dinner.
That night Ali and Todd came over to watch the game.
The kids went crazy.
We dominated the whole game so we didn't have to watch closely, but we were worried about the Vikings game that was on at the same time.
During halftime, I made steak sandwiches.
Back to the game.
Sammy is taking piano, guitar and drum class at the School of Rock. He seemed very comfortable holding my guitar.
We won! The Vikings lost! The Eagles are in the playoffs!
Sammy had a guest spot on Ariel's Youtube show.
