Lana'i

This is going to be one of those in between posts. Nothing too exciting happened besides traveling to Lana'i. Tomorrow will have some cool stuff - horses! We were so sad to say goodbye to the Four Seasons Maui. Such an amazing place. We left late, of course, and had to rush to the port in Lahaina. It was a good 40 minutes away. We finally got to see more of the Maui countryside. Very pretty. There are volcanoes on both sides of the island. We drove right past them. We could also see, Lana'i, Molokai and the Hawaii on the horizon. Pretty cool. The town of Lahaina looked nice but we were so late, we had to rush onto the boat. It was about 50 mintutes to Lana'i. The ferry was packed with many doing a day trip. Saw fish and dolphins jumping out of the water! The port was busy. It was only a 2 minutes ride to the hotel.

Lana'i

For Jason and Lisa. Lunch at the Clubhouse and we had the Plantation tea. As you can see, we were the only ones there. There are 2 golf courses here. One designed by Jack Nicholas (Amy asked if that was the actor, I think she meant Nicholson) and the other by Greg Norman. We watched people playing that were not very good.

The room.

More honeymoon snacks.

Four Seasons Lana'i at Manele Bay

Amy kept wondering how the torches got lit every night at all the hotels. Mystery solved.

Koi ponds everywhere. I'll get more pics tomorrow. They all run over and open their mouths when you look at them. Funny.

Amy finally got to wear her dress. There is another Four Seasons here in the moutains. We took the shuttle up there and had dinner. No pics as it was dark already. We are going horseback riding tomorrow at the Four Seasons Lana'i at Koele so I should get some good pics then. It was really cold in the mountains and there were lots of pine trees. It felt like we were in the Poconos.

I'm starting to get really tired. I think the two weeks are catching up with me.
