Let the "Real" Honeymoon Begin

Amy has been giddy since we got off the plane in Maui. She says this was the part she was excited about, especially since there were no more volcanoes. We woke up on Monday not really knowing where we were as we came in at night. The hotel is amazing. Pictures don't really do it justice so I will only show a few. I'm still not used to these hotels having no outside walls.

The Four Seasons Maui

Amy loved the soft sand, the first since we've been here.

Hey, those birds didn't pay $20 for pancakes!

We spent the day at the pool. They were very attentive. They learn your names and constantly come by to refresh your water and see if you need anything.

The people walk upside down here!

The come around and give massages in your seat!

Amy reading one of the children's books she bought. I only had to help her with a few of the words.

The room.

Sunset

There was a mall next door. We finally got to get into our new red Sebring convertible and explore a little. There are big, beautiful houses all around this area. Many movie stars that live right around here. Owen Wislon, Eddie Murphy among others. Paris came here the day after she got out of jail. We were told the condos near the hotel on the beach start at $8 mil, and those are for the small ones in the back. The mall was very nice, very high end.

Amy, always the trendsetter, bought a pocketbook from Folli Follie, a Greek company just starting to show in the States.

We had dinner a Longhi's, a "Maui tradition." The salad had warm, carmalized macadamian nuts, yummy. Here is the molten chocolate souflet. The people next to us got it and were complaining it was too runny. Isn't that the point!

The state fish of Hawaii. Amy has been practicing it for months. Humuhumunukunukuapua'a. The longest word in the English language. This was a restaurant at the hotel next door.

Today more snorkling!
