Last night Lev and I went to dinner in Chinatown then to the Trocadero for a concert. The Paul Green School of Music started in Philly about ten years ago and now it's across the country. It was the inspiration for that Jack Black movie. The purpose is to get kids a chance to play rock music on stage, preferably with famous musicians. The kids tour around the country and we saw them with Jon Anderson from Yes. It was pretty amazing. First of all, it's such a small venue. You are so close no matter where you are. They mostly played Yes music with Jon singing. The kids switched at every song. They sounded great and had such great on stage presence for kids. I am going to post some videos but it takes a while to convert them so check back later.
