Halloween 2019

It's Thursday night.  I just had my guitar lesson.  I was in a bit of a rut but he gave me some stuff to work on that made me excited.  I'm going to bring the F chord all the way down the neck which will lead into a Grateful Dead song I've been wanting to play.  We have a Breezy Point fundraiser at Chick fil a tonight.  The twins will have fun playing there but none of us besides Amy will really eat that stuff.  Good thing I had a big lunch.  Back to Halloween!

Halloween afternoon I headed to the kids school.  Because of rain, they had the annual costume parade inside, which made it really hard to see.
 There's Ariel's class.

The K-5th graders went back to their rooms for their parties.
Amy is Ariel's homeroom mom so she put together the party.

 Games and food.

 Cute kids!

The 6th graders do not march in the parade or have classroom parties.  They hung out in the gym.

You can see Aden in there trying to catch a ball.

Back at Breezy Point, they had their parties too.
 Eva and Gwen!
 Looks like they had fun.
After school we didn't have a lot of time to get ready for trick or treating.
It was supposed to be lousy weather but it was awesome.  In the 70s and dry!  We didn't even need jackets.
It was pretty nice in LA too.
In Chicago it was awful!  We have friends that were out in a blizzard!  I guess candy really is that important.
Here is our gang ready to go!  Cuties!

Aden ran off with his friends then we didn't see him the rest of the night.
Here we go!  Eli kept hanging back.  He wanted to make sure there weren't any dogs.
 Yay!  Candy!  Thanks Nancy!

They ran from house to house.

 I love the big baby.

It was finally time to go through the loot.  This is now a week later and we still have so much candy in the house.  The kids seem to have forgotten about it, which is weird.
Well the storm they were talking about did finally come that night.  It was pretty wild.  There were possible tornadoes around.  We had part of a tree come down.  There was actually a 2 hour delay the next morning for school and some of the schools ended up not opening due to loss of power.  On that note, have a great weekend!
