Regional Cheer Tournament 2019

It's Monday night.  Let's finish off this cheer already!  I left you at 7 am waiting outside in the freezing Trenton air.  Coach Lynde posted some last minute encouragement on Facebook.  "Frost and all!! Let's do this"
We finally got inside the big stadium.  We were really early.  It did fill up over time.
The floor and the trophies.
The proud and nervous parents waiting.  You can see me!
Backstage Coach Lynde prepped the girls.

No matter what's about to happen, they are our champions!
Let's do this!
We went number 5 out of 62!

They did great!  We just had 4 hours to wait to see if we won!
The judges.
My parents and Amy left.  I waited with the parents.
Ariel had all the girls sign her pillow.
We waited and waited.  Several of the teams were really good.
The girls waited in the stands across from us.

Here we go!  We didn't win but we really didn't expect to.  Just making it to this competition was the win.  Most of our girls are 7 and we were going against teams of 10 year olds.  We had no deductions!  They did great.  It was just that some of the other teams had more difficult routines.  We will have our time!
That night we met for dinner at the Richboro Pub.
The girls cried for a while but then realized they had a lot to be proud of.
Way to go girls!
