Aden is One Hip Dude

Wednesday night, Amy, Aden and I walked over to Rittenhouse Square.  For those of you not familiar with Philadelphia, there is a huge population that lives in the downtown area, so unlike other cities that close down at 6, Philly is busy 24 hours a day.   It was a nice night, so it was extra crowded.  We met Mark at the newest Stephen Starr restaurant (he owns several hip places) Parc.  It's supposed to be a French Bistro.

We waited about 1/2 an hour past our reservation.  Amy kept on them until they sat us.

They have more seating outside than inside.

Many people who think they are hipper than they really are!  Everyone was really dressed up.

Aden really is that hip.  He was too cool to be awake to check people out, he let them check him out at first.  He would get around to people when he was ready.

The Square was getting crowded as there were bands that were going to play later.

Amy made Aden a sign.  He was good.  He woke up, ate, then started his people watching.  He had some funny things to say about all the women with the very short skirts or low cut tops! (usually both)

Ummm.  Steak frites.

I had the beef bourginone.

Aden had some muscles, with the red sauce.  He said the baguettes were not very fresh.

We met up with Dave, Danielle and Tracy in the Square.

Here's Dave.

He's never going to be able to pick up chicks if we keep embarrassing him like this!

Aden liked the music.  His dancing was a little embarrassing so we told him to lay down for a bit.

Danielle didn't want to let him go.

Now, what is worse, people in public playing with light sabers or the guy taking pictures of them?

You might have said me until you saw these fairly cool shots I took with the shutter open longer than usual.

Now everyone make and L with your forefinger and thumb and put it up against your head.

Aden was excited from his big day and was still wide awake when we got home.  It is fun watching him look at everything going by while he is in the stroller.  I figured I could give him things to look at in his crib.

Now how cute is that?

Good night our 1 month old man!

Aden has gone out to eat more times in the past month than I have in a year!
