On Monday, I met Amy and Aden at the OBGYN. It was Amy's follow-up appointment. The doctor was excited to see Aden. She was the one that delivered him. She said Amy was healing well and could resume normal activities in two more weeks. That means all activities ;-) We then went to Wachovia to open an account for Aden. His Social Security card came so we were finally able to do it. He has some serious bucks in there already, thanks to all the generous gifts. There were many jokes between us and the bank people over whether he needed a debit card or checks. He's going to need some cash if he's going to date Alyssa! I'm teaching him how to treat a lady right! Does anyone know anything about 529 plans?
After work, Amy, Aden and I met my grandmother, Melissa and Beverly at Ben and Irv's for dinner. It was Aden's first trip there and he anxious to try the matzoh ball soup (good stuff!) Jen told us that we wouldn't get the same attention with the baby as Amy's belly got. I think she's wrong. Everyone wants to see Aden. He was definitely the center of attention at the restaurant.
He woke up and was hungry.
They put the soup in the bottle for us! He loved it! (he only wishes) We took turns feeding him and eating ourselves.
Back to my grandmother's house we decided to give the play mat a try.
But first, Bubbie needed to hold him. She really handles him well. Knows just what to do to make him smile. It's very cute.
He loved the mat! He was reaching for everything and looking in the mirror.
Hey cutey!
So little, yet with so much stuff! Good thing we got that truck.
Beverly didn't want to let him go.
Such a cute gift. It sucks we have to wait at least 2 years for him to use it! There is a matching umbrella also!
Another crazy license plate.
