Well, this could be a day for the history books. Ariel is in her new big girl bed for the night. We hope. She went in about 8:30 and we are watching on the webcam. At 9, she's still playing around but on the bed. Hopefully she will fall asleep soon. Here are some pictures as we were putting her in.
We still have a lot of setting up to do. We have no idea where all the books are going to go.
All nice and cozy!
Back to Saturday, Aden had his first birthday party for a kid in his class. I can't believe it's taken till December. I was excited to meet some of the parents. I met most of the kids on Halloween.
We were at the Sports Zone in Southampton. Cole's parents went all out on this one. They had 3 different activities. First there were a bunch of games on the court.
This one was kids against parents.
It's hard to take pics while balls are flying at your head!
Then there were games with a giant jump rope.
Then it was time for the Blast Zone.
Yes, they spent the whole time shooting each other.
Then it was time for Dodgeball!
They actually had the kids pick teams. Isn't that awful? It's like a kid's worst nightmare. Aden wasn't even picked! He didn't seem very close to any of the kids.
Of course all the kids wanted to try the rock wall. Nope.
While we were there, Amy took Ariel boot shopping.
