Does He Look Like Me?

Saturday, our families joined us for a 4D ultrasound in Langhorne. It's something you can do for fun, there is nothing clinical about it. It's about a half an hour session. The room is big enough for about 10 people and they project the images on the wall. We were hoping the baby would cooperate. We know some people who did this recently and couldn't see anything as the babies were facing the wrong way or had limbs in front of their faces. Our baby did pretty well. He slept through most of it but you can see his eyes open a little in one picture. His feet, hand and umbilical cord kept moving in front of his face but tapping on the belly seemed to help. I'll put up some baby pictures of me and Amy so you can compare.

What are you trying to say?

Sucking thumb.

Watch that umbilical cord!

A traditional ultrasound next to the new one.

Can you hear me now?
