Maya's Service

It's Thursday night.  We skipped the cleaning lady last week because the painters were here last week.  They finished on Tuesday.  I will have to take some pics.  The house looks completely different.  We have a busy weekend coming up and it's supposed to be close to 100 degrees both days!

Last Friday morning, Ariel and I finished packing.  She went to school for the morning.
More painting.
The twins at school!  I picked up Ariel around lunchtime and we headed to the airport in Trenton.
We passed by Miss Marilyn's music class.  We haven't been going to her classes in 4 or 5 years.  I really miss her so we stopped by!  Her classes had been virutal during Covid but she recently started doing them in person outside.
As soon as we got out of the car she called for us by name.  Ariel was shocked she remembered her.
Miss Marilyn remembers everyone.  She's amazing.  I was so happy to see her.
At the airport.
Being silly waiting for the plane.
Here we go!  Off to Florida for Maya's Bat Mitzvah.
The southern coast of Florida.  I haven't seen it in 3 years!
There's Miami in the distance.
It was nice and warm.
Our car was waiting for us.  Ariel wanted something bright!

We went to Maya's service at the Parkland Chabad.  The service was great.  The rabbi was funny and Maya was fabulous.  It was under an hour, which is perfect.  Here is Maya with her parents Erika and Mike.
Here are her grandparents who are best friends with my parents.

Great job!
Don't we look dapper.
Ariel wanted to run outside and see some palm trees.
They had a nice dinner and we met a munch of new people.

Loving that car.
We stopped at the market, Publix, on the way back to my parent's house.  Have a great weekend!
