Finally, we've reached the end! After we gave up on the beach on day 8, we headed to our favorite mall, Town Center in Boca.
Just bring me the clothes to try on. She's very demanding.
Yes, you.Very patient in the Burberry store though.
He still must throw a coin in every fountain. Luckily we didn't have a lot of time there or we would have spent more than we did!
We then had dinner at Rocco's Tacos.
Lisa and Matt recommended it.
Ariel sucking on a lime.
Amy and I loved the food, her parents not so much. A picture in the rain!
Of course Aden found a candy store.
Chocolate alligator! It took him several days to finish it.
Um, what about me?
Let me in!
We found a really cool kid's shop.
Ariel picked this bag herself. How appropriate! We weren't sure what to do Day 9. When you are in South Florida and are in doubt about your plans, there is only one answer...
South Beach!!!
We drove down to have lunch and do a little shopping on Lincoln Road.
Ariel's first trip there.
The last time we were here, this was a Ghirardelli. You can't go wrong either way. Dylan's is always a favorite stop in New York so it was exciting to see it here. It was actually the inspiration for Ariel's name before we had to make a change. We spent a decent amount of time there!
Ariel was like wow!!!!
Even the big kids had fun.
Jelly Beans.
Yum.
We had lunch at Cafe Nexxt, where we always end up. It was good as usual. Ariel checked out the scene. This is the life.
She made friends.
This girl was 3 months younger than Ariel.
It was a short visit but I'm glad we went.
We went back and packed, then met Stacey for a hibachi dinner. We went to high school together. She's lived down there for a while. It was great to catch up. The flight the next morning was uneventful. It was nice to get home.
