We The People

What a nice surprise. Amy's parents came into town last minute to go to the Constitution Center. I picked up Melissa on the scooter and met them and Amy at Continental. Love that Chinese chicken salad. It was the first time for all of them at the Constitution Center. We saw the show and wandered around. There is a new exhibit on important moments in history. Very cool. Melissa went to an exciting Phillies game, won by a Ryan Howard walk off homer in the 10th. Amy and I are going tonight.

Sea sick

Melissa and I got up early and walked 6 miles on Friday morning! There were a lot of people in Margate, I guess it's a big vacation week. Later, Amy, Melissa and I joined Adam on his boat. I took Dramamine and expected to be fine but the ocean was a bit rough and I got really sick. :-( We were way out in the ocean so it was a while until we got back. I think everyone else had fun though.

Adam joined us Friday night for dinner at Rosaurios in Ventnor. Good stuff. Then to the Greenhouse. Not very crowded. I tried to drink but I was still a little unsteady from the boat. Melissa actually came back with us at 1:30. Usually that's when her night begins.

Saturday morning, we went for a bike ride to Atlantic City. At least I think we did. We couldn't see anything in the fog.

Sunday the girls got up really late. We just picked up food and went to the beach.

Who is that on the phone?

Skee Ball Anyone?

Well this was a pretty crazy full weekend. Friday night we brought in barbeque at the Shore. Saturday morning, we had brunch at Aunt Judy's house. Sandy and Elliot were in with their kids and dogs...

Then to the beach. It was a perfect day.

Saturday night, the three of us met Jason, Rachel and Alisa at Continental. The girls were looking hot! The Greenhouse was packed.

Sunday was a washout but we still had fun. After brunch at my uncle's house, where we showed our "Love Video" to everyone, we went with Jason and crew to Ocean City for Mack and Manco's pizza and skee ball.

Wednesday Night Activities

Who knew that Wednesdays were so exciting in the City. Amy and I met Mel at El Vez where Center City Sips was in full swing. It was packed. We had the special $4 sangrias and tons of food. The tacos for two could have fed five. We then walked over to Rittenhouse Square where they had a band playing. Dave and Danielle were there with some blankets. We sat out and talked. Amy was paying more attention to the dogs then anything else. The band was playing rap music, not really appropriate for the Square but fun.

Greenhouse

Saturday morning, Amy, Melissa and I walked the Ventnor boardwalk and stopped by my uncles where Eric and Trish and the dogs had just arrived. We then ate at Sac O' Subs. By the time we got to the beach, it was after 3. The 3 of us met Howard, Drew and Susan at Angelos. It was crowded and we waited an hour. After a very nice dinner, we all packed into my car and went to the Greenhouse. It was very chilly and pretty empty although Melissa really liked the crowd. Melissa and I went in the ocean Sunday. It was warm!

Friday Night

It's Friday night. It had been a really warm day at home. We got down the Shore and it is freezing. The wind is howling. Of course I didn't bring any warm clothes. I guess I'll be wearing some Penn State sweatshirt. I will have more pics in a day or two.

Another Shore Weekend

I have been bad. Not taking enough pictures. I do have a few to share.
Saturday, Nomi and Roland came with a couple of friends to our beach. Since they just got married last week, it was like we were sharing in their honeymoon. It was a perfect beach day. We were throwing a football around and some woman walks by and says, "how old are you, 2?" What was that about?

Saturday night we went out with Adam and Ellen to the Oyster Creek Inn. It was a half hour drive into the middle of nowhere. We were a bit scared. The meal was surprisingly good.
