Art Show

Last Friday, I met Andy for a quick breakfast then I headed to school.
I was a chaperone for district art show.  I rode on the bus with the 6th graders.  They were very loud.  I did get a standing ovation from the kids though.
Here we go!

Ariel's buddies.
It's art from all over the district but not everyone gets their art displayed.  For us, it was just the twins.

Noah!
Eli made a flip book.
Some of the high school kids are amazing.

It was quickly full of kids visiting.
The bus ride back was equally annoying.
That night, we went back with the twins.  It was so crowded!

Eli's favorite pic because it's actually his favorite swing ride in Ocean City.  Have a great weekend!

Typical Days

Last Tuesday was quiet.
The biggest excitement was some spilled water.
Noah actually helped clean up.
Last Wednesday, Eli was happy about something.
Practice time.
The twins played at Lennox's house across the street.

Such a fun place.

Last Thursday, Eli practiced before school.  It's amazing how he's really taken to the violin.

My name came up in class.  Look at the white sign.  I'm famous in 6th grade!

Amy walked up to the school at the end of the day.  Ariel's class was out there enjoying the weather.
Their teachers taken them outside whenever they can.
Ariel had her private that night.

Third Grade Wax Museum

It's Tuesday night.  Ariel got her Torah portion tonight.  It's about Isaac's twin sons Jacob and Esau who loved each other and also fought a lot.  I wonder who Ariel can relate them to in her life.  Lol.

Last Monday, the turtle was still around!
We walked up to the school for the 3rd Grade Wax Museum.
Big crowd.
First we found Eli/Neil Armstrong.  He was very quiet inside that helmet but he loved talking about Neil.

Is that Mother Teresa?
Then we found Noah/Thomas Edison.
Noah would love to be an inventor like Edison.

Great job boys!
Piano lessons.
It was a musical night.
Aden had tennis late.

Aden's Board Induction

It's Monday night.  Eli had an orchestra concert tonight.  They did great!  He wouldn't pose for any pics but he looked cute in his slacks and tie.

Last Sunday was a big day.  Amy took the twins to Hebrew school and stayed to play mahjong.  Ariel gto ready.
Her morning routine is crazy!
Amy and the mahjong girls!
I went to get the twins and Amy took Ariel to Denny's to go summer clothes shopping.
They stopped for food on the way.
I spent the whole day cooking.  First I made birria beef to put in tacos.
Then I made like 40 chicken cutlets.
Practice makes perfect.

Putting the tacos together was time consuming.  I wish I had more time.
I made all the food to bring to a potluck dinner at the synagogue.  There were about 80 people there for the youth group board induction ceremony.  I don't know if I mentioned it but Aden decided to run for a spot on the board.  He wrote and speech which he had to recite to his peers, which is hard.

He's the assistant sports coordinator.
Ariel entertained our friends.
Here's last years group and next years.

Then they did a candle ceremony.
The new board.
