Lots of Birthdays

Last Wednesday, Amy had one of several meals with friends to celebrate her birthday.  

Aden had a youth group function at synagogue that night.  

Last Thursday, Ariel had cheer class.  

This was the last class until after camp.  

Then we went to Costco.  That tv is way bigger than her!

It was rainy.  

Dylan came to hang with Eli.  They were chill for once.  Just watched tv.  

Last Friday, Amy had another birthday lunch at Texas Roadhouse near work so I met the girls there.  

It was also Lauren's birthday.  They made the girls ride the bull!

I went to the gym later.  Aden joined me.  Alex worked us both pretty hard.  

Then I took Ariel to her cheer private.  Fionna came along.  She doesn't go there anymore and is not welcome so she watched from outside.

That night, we drove to the shore.  We waited until late when the traffic wasn't so bad.  Amy went with Melissa.  I had Aden, the twins, Ariel with Fionna and Lilly.  

Took about 2 hours to get down.  We just relaxed. Can't believe it was Memorial Day Weekend.  Have a great weekend!

 

Day at the Shore

Last Tuesday, I woke up at the Shore.  I cleaned out the garage and set up the outdoor furniture.  

They came to install 2 new air conditioners which were failing after only 8 years.  

I cleaned out the hot tub.

I went for a run.  It's amazing how much gets built over the winter.  

Meanwhile, back at home, the kids were off for election day.  Amy took them to Ali's to hang out.  

Ariel ended up in Newtown with her friends.  

I met my neighbor Jenn on the Ocean City boardwalk with her kids.  

We played some mini golf.  

The pirate ship is back at Castaway Cove!  

I picked up pizza I had been wanting to try for a long time.  They only make a limited amount of pies a night and you have to reserve ahead of time.  

It's a Detroit style pizza.  Thick and square.  

I got pepperoni with vodka sauce.  It was very good!

Back at home, Ariel had dinner at Melissa's.  

I drove home and gave the kids the donuts I bought at the shore. 

 

Field Day

Last Monday, was Field Day!  It had been delayed because of rain.  My neighbor Jenn had a pre-school breakfast for a bunch of the families.  

It was a beautiful day.  

What happened to Blue vs White?

Some of the moms.  

Up to the school to start.  Eli was a captain and got to hold a clipboard.  He liked having some responsibility.  

Tug of war time.  

Noah seems so little.

Vicky had fun.  

They had fun activities all morning.  

They got really wet with this one.  Carrying a full sponge. 

Ariel's 6th grade teacher on the roof.

Then they moved inside.  

This was fun.  They had to push a kid on a sled who tried to grab balls with a basket.

There's Noah.  

They got to take a break before lunch.  Eli, Dylan and Paul were digging holes for some reason.  

Amy and I took Ariel to the doctor that afternoon.  

That night, Aden took Ariel to Rita's and they ran into Lindsey.  I'm not sure if Ariel or Aden was more excited.  Lol.  

I drove to the shore myself.  Got there really late.
