Rising Star Ariel

Last Monday was the start of Passover.  Amy's parents hosted a lovely dinner.  We went through some of the prayers.
The kids did the Four Questions.
Stella growled at us.
It was nice to see the extended family.
Ariel and Eva ate outside.  It was so nice out.
Amy's mom and my mom did most of the cooking.  I made green beans.

Then it was dessert time.

Amy practiced Mahjhong with her mom.
We got home and I assembled Eli's astronaut helmet for his presentation.
Aden had a bunch of friends come over.
Last Tuesday, the kids had off for election day.  Ben came over to help Eli with his violin.
The kids went to Lennox's house.
They rode around.

Then went on the trampoline.

Eli has been practicing so hard for the concert coming up.
He decided to play for the neighborhood.

Noah and I made the latest Mark Rober project.
Working on their presentations.
That night, they released the cheer awards.  Ariel's team only had 4 and she got one of them!

Ariel's Last Comp of Season 8

It's Monday night.  I just played tennis for the first time in like 2 months.  My wrist is finally feeling better!

Last Sunday was Ariel's final cheer competition of the season.  It was at the same place as the last one, in central Jersey at Brookdale Community College.
Ever since Ariel lost her shoe last season, she always has a lace checker assigned to her.
Here they go!

They did so great!  This isn't my video.

Here are some closeups taken from the video so a bit fuzzy but you get the idea.  Ariel is up in the middle.

Judging time.
They came in first but they didn't have any competition.
All the Airborne teams!
Great season girls.  It went way too fast.
Ariel and I went back to Delicious Orchards to shop for yummy foods.
Tessa met us there.
We got home and the twins were chilling.
Eli trying on his astronaut helmet.

Sloane's Day

That was a nice weekend.  Today was in the 80s!

Last Saturday, we had soccer.

Go Noah!
The other team dominated but our guys played well and almost came back.
Supportive twin.
Great game buddy!
Then we got dressed up and went to Sloane's bat mitzvah.
She did a great job.  It was so nice to see her family.
The party was at Beat Street nearby.  Nice balloons!
Tons of kids.

High school buddies.
The kids never stopped dancing.

The beautiful host and hostess.
Sloane had the best time.
We clean up nice!

The adult area.
The gave us this centerpiece to take home then called the next day because their party planner wanted it back!
The speeches were sweet.
Make your own smores.
We talked way into the night.
