Turkey Dinner

It's Wednesday night and it's been raining hard all day.  I have to take the trash out but I really don't want to.  They come so early in the morning though.  I wish this was a two way thing so I could find out how you all are doing!

This is Thanksgiving morning.  The gate was open and the boys got downstairs.  By the time we caught up with them, they had started emptying the dishwasher.

Then they started drumming on the pots and pans.
We spent the morning going back and forth between the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York and the local one.  You can tell the Philly one has a slighter smaller budget.  Can this really be considered a float?
 Noah enjoyed it.
Ariel had a play date with Eva.
I spent the afternoon cooking green beans and brussel sprouts.
That night we had Thanksgiving dinner at Amy's parent's house.
Not sure what Aden was thumbing down.
He did though try most of the food, which was a first for him.
Everyone helped with the food and it was all yummy.
I caught Aden trying to get some candy.
Big man Noah.  Do you remember Aden wearing this shirt?

Cute!  Clar and Jeff did the best job hosting!

Eva and Ariel explored their mommy's rooms.
 PJ time.
Aden was a good boy and talked to Bev and my grandmother.
 Aunt Bev and Eli.

Everyone was thrilled Justin and Katie were able to join us all the way from Washington.
 Pile on Mark!
Of course the boys fell asleep on the way home.

Happy 5th Birthday Ariel!!!

Today is Ariel's 5th birthday!  She had a very fun day.  Amy brought pizza and cupcakes to her school.  Our families were going to come over tonight but we lost power.  That was a bit exciting.  So we moved everything to Melissa's house.  It was super chaotic but we wouldn't want it any other way.  Ariel is the light of our lives.  For those of you that know her, you may be wondering where she came from.  She kind of looks like us and I would like to think we are nearly as friendly as she is, but she really is her own person.  From all her boundless energy, her empathy, her need to be friends with everyone everywhere we are, her intensity, her never ending smile.  Where did she come from?  I will get to her birthday pictures soon but here is one from school today.
This came up on Facebook.  The night before Ariel was born.
She arrived on November 29th around 9:20 p.m. and the rest is history.
Back to last week.  Someone was lounging around.
We extended the driveway so Amy can pull further up.  I like to park in the garage and I'm always worried about hitting her car.
We had Aden's teacher conference.  He's apparently silly and likes to dance.  He's doing great in math and getting stronger in reading.  We just need to work on his confidence!
 Drumming.
Uh, Eli, stop pulling your brother's hair.
 Babies being busy.

Here's a whole bunch of pics of the twins playing with a humidifier.

Still playing the next morning.
 Trip to Costco.
 Now that's a bear.
We got home and each was missing one sock and one sneaker.
 They are silly Ariel.

Good Job Ariel

It's Monday night and we are watching the Eagles game.  They are losing but it has been entertaining.  Aden was crying he wanted to stay up to watch it with us but it's just too late.  Speaking of Aden, double ear infection.  Did you all take advantage of Cyber Monday?  Amy and I did our fair share and then some!

Back to last week.  Someone got into the Cheerios again.
 Music.
 Why hello there.
Watch out Noah, you may be in the way of that baby coming out!
 Our sweet boy.
 How did this happen?
 Noah didn't want to smile.
 Let's get on Marilyn's lap.

Yes, Eli took the Elmo drum from that girl.
 Hello!
 Sweet.
We got to try out our new parking space at the synagogue.  At the Vodka Karaoke night, we won the raffle and got a reserved parking spot for a year!

 Right by the door.
Ariel's last gym class for the session.
 Loving that trampoline.

 She gets very silly.

The kids got to go up on the pad and get their ribbons.
 Good job Ariel!
They keep forgetting to take off their clothes before they get in the shower.
