Road Trip

Last Friday was a busy day.  After school, I took Ariel to cheer for her private.
Amy took the twins to the district art show.  They both had art displayed.

I grabbed Ariel and 3 camp friends and we drove to center city Philly.  It should take about 1/2 hour maybe 40 minutes but it took an hour and a half with the Friday night and Phillies traffic.
The girls were silly.

We picked up Cece in the city and were complete.
We drove South into Delaware and stopped at a rest stop for dinner.
We kpet heading south into Maryland.  We all held our breath while we went through the tunnel under Baltimore Harbor.
The traffic was bad for a while.  We passed this castle looking place.
Five hours later, we made it to Potomac Maryland right outside Washington DC.  The trip should have taken 3 hours!  The girls squealed when they saw their Maryland camp friends.  They slept over Abby's house and I went to cousin Sandy's.  The next day was Royce's Bat Mitzvah!  Have a great weekend!

Solving the Giant Cube

It's Wednesday night.  It was warm briefly.  Now it's cold again.  Bummer.  Speaking of cold, last Wednesday's tennis match was frigid.
Aden getting some advice from the coach.
Here we go!  I was the only parent brave enough to come.

Good match guys!
Then Noah had a soccer practice.  I'm not sure how they did it.  I stayed in the car.

Last Thursday was a little better.  Eli was back playing outside.
Honey and her family came to hang.
Ariel was in charge of the cucumbers.
Aden had Dylan over to play.
They set this up.
Ariel started a new tumbling class at cheer.  She really enjoyed it.  She knew most of the girls in the class.
Dylan was over late.  They settled down and watched a movie.
Noah solved the giant cube!

Big Tennis Win

Last Monday, the girls in the city went out to a nice brunch.
I was at work and heard jets.  You can kind of see them.  They were headed to the opening Philly's game.
Eli still enjoying his water pellet gun.

Yay Spring.
Ariel had an extra cheer practice that night.

Good jumps.

That night we had crazy t storms.
Last Tuesday, a few neighbors had their driveways redone.  There were big trucks everywhere.

Aden had a tennis match.
He played 1st varsity doubles and won!

Ariel slept over Fionna's house.  They had some fun in the tub.
I had to go over later to bring her school bag.

A Day in Philly

Last Sunday, Amy and I took the twins into the Philly to pick up Ariel who got a ride to Cece's house from Delaware.
We ran around the house.  The twins found a row home fascinating.  The roof decks were cool.

The girls are so close.

The girls asked us if we could go shopping.
So we parked on Walnut Street and hit the stores.
The girls were so excited.
Ariel has been asking about these stores for a long time.
We got some stuff at the Apple Store.
Ice cream time!  The twins had a good time walking around and exploring.
Eagles whiskey!
My ice cream was yummy.
We met the girls in Rittenhouse Square.

The boys got some toys.
We had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.
It was a pretty successful day.  Turns out we didn't need to even come.  Ariel ended up staying over Cece's for the night.  They did not have school on Monday.
