Goodbye Rabbi Briskin

Last Friday, Fionna and Ariel wanted to leave early to go to Dunkin.  They were up even earlier curling their hair.

Dunkin' is the place to before middle school.  

We ran into Taylor and her mom and friends.  

Eli rode his bike to school.  

After school, we took the twins outdoor furniture shopping.  

They found stuff they liked.  

Eli wants a fountain.  

That night, I drove the girls to lacrosse practice.  

Our rabbi is leaving the synagogue.  I went to his last service.  

This was as song they wrote about him.  

It was packed!  A bunch of people gave very moving speeches.  

They had treats for us after.  

People lined up to say goodbye to rabbi Briskin.  I waited and gave him a hug.  Hope the new rabbi is good.  Have a great weekend!

 

Lots of Crumb Cake

Last Wednesday, Amy was hosted mah jong.  She wanted me to make a crumb cake.  I waited till the morning because I knew it would make the house smell good.  While it was baking, I realized I forgot the oil!  I found out that the cake would come out dry so I decided to make another one but we were out of eggs so I had to run to the store to get more.  I hope they enjoyed it!

Alison came by to show us her new car which was very nice and huge!

Eli practiced outside.  

He made himself French toast.  

The Flyers had a big playoff win that night.  

Last Thursday, Tony came over to help finally fix both the Cyberquads.  They are working great! 

Aden met with his school counselor to start picking classes!  

Ariel and Fionna had a picnic on the driveway.  

It started raining.  

Ben ran by in the rain!

We played a geography game.  

 

The Beach Boys

Last Monday, we got a crazy pizza for lunch at work.  

After the gym, I sat by the pool a little.  

Noah had piano.  

The gym announced a free party for members with the Beach Boys!

Eli tried to ride my bike.  

We went up to the school to ride around.  

We saw neighbors.  

Ariel even joined us!

Vicky was playing with Noah back at the house.  

On Tuesday, we brought Eli his bike after school.
