Pirates

Last Friday, Ariel had friends over to get ready before going to Tessa's birthday party.  

Of course they had to make some Tiktoks.  

We are such a musical family.  

Amy and I took the twins to the Newtown Theater to see Pirates of the Caribbean.  They had some yummy drinks for us.  

Such a cute place.  

It's kind of hard to read but it says this theater is the longest running theater in the country!

There were pirate activities before the movie started.  

Let's go!   Free popcorn!

The twins told pirate jokes.  

Then it was time to watch the movie.  

We stayed for the whole movie and really enjoyed it!  Have a great weekend!

 

Miami Painting

Last Thursday, I drove the twins to school very carefully.  The cops have been very active near the school.  

Here is someone pulled over in the school parking lot.  

I think they are watching one particular stop sign.  

After school, I took Ariel shopping.  

She wanted to look for a dress for the dance.  

She tried on a couple at Party Girls.  

I think she found one!

We have a winner!  So pretty!

We know the owner a little.  

I took Eli and Demy to get pizza.  

Then I went with Noah to another art class.  More acrylic pouring.  

This one was puddling.  Pouring paint in circles.  

When we had to choose colors, I was inspired by the University of Miami logo.  

She helped me mix colors to get them close.

This is how mine ended up.  I'm going to get a Miami logo and put it on top.

When we got back, Ariel and I tried 2 more cookies.  The Dubai chocolate one wasn't that good.  

Speaking of Miami, Aden got the envelope he had been waiting for.  It was sort of anticlimactic as they told Adne he was in over a month ago but it was still very nice.  

 

Miami Jordans

Last Monday, Aden had a guitar lesson after Noah's piano lesson.

Some deep thoughts from Eli.  

Eli has been reaching out to future Miami Freshman.  He was Facetiming with a girl from Nashville.  Ariel got excited and took over the conversation!

Last Tuesday, Amy and Noah got busy with the tutor.  

I forgot if I showed you these but here are my University of Miami Air Jordans.  

I got Aden a pair too.  

Last Wednesday morning, Emo was reading the newspaper.  

Demy said hi.  

I got more ridiculous sweets.  These cookies are from Florida.  

I took Ariel to the Willow Grove Mall to go dress shopping.  

She didn't find anything.  

We went back to break out the cookies.  

We warmed up two of them.  They were actually just ok.  

 

The Eagles Are Done

Last Sunday, Aden and I went to the Eagle's playoff game.  On the way we stopped at Sweet Lucy's for barbecue.  I got this yummy sandwich.

We parked at Steven's house.  He's my neighbor in Margate who lives right by the stadium.  I should have done this before.  So much better than parking in those awful lots.  

We walked over to the stadium.  

It was cold!

Everyone was excited.  

We got to our seats and these papers were taped there.  They wanted us to hold up the signs at a particular point.

Well we lost.  Oh well.  

It was a long sad walk out of the stadium.
