Anabella Nation

Last Wednesday was a busy day.  Eli wanted to go back to an amusement park he went to with camp and somehow he convinced me to take him.  It was an hour away in New Jersey.  First he did some rides.

He met some girls and did the rides with them.

I don't know how anyone goes on this thing.  

Then we went to the water park.  

Eli wanted me to slide with him.  So we did!  We did a bunch.  I couldn't bring my phone with me so no pics.

There were more rides inside.

We went home then Amy took the twins to Ali's house to swim.  

That night Ariel had Bella's 15th birthday party.  I brought Eli and we stayed.  Their backyard is awesome.  

The whole party was Aviator Nation inspired.

There were tons of kids.  Eli did his own thing.  

The parents hung out in the kitchen.

Cheer Welcome

Last Monday I went for a run early.  I asked AI why a lot of the older neighborhoods don't have sidewalks.  There was actually a decent explanation.  I still think it's dumb though.  

Ariel went to visit the high school with all her friends.  

I tried out the new smoker/grill.  

I actually wasn't thrilled with the first cook.  I need to keep experimenting.  

Ariel had a bunch of friends over.  

I went for a late walk with Amy.  

Someone spotted an alligator outside Aden's dorm!

Last Tuesday morning was the first day for teachers in our district.  The cheerleaders and football players went at 6:30 am to welcome them!

That night, we finally met our new rabbi.  She was very nice.  She comes the valley outside LA and sounds like a valley girls from an 80's movie!
