Aden the Lifeguard

Sunday was so hot when we got up we didn't go for a walk. My parents and grandmother came by to visit and brought some Yum Yums! Aden had fun opening every one and taking a lick or two.

After his nap, we headed to the beach. You are allowed to barbeque on the beach only on July 4th. You can kind of make out some of the tents people set up in the background.

Aden was kind of mellow. No running around but plenty of digging.

The beach was packed again. We like it better when it's just the people we know.

Another visit to the rocks.

I'm guessing Aden has Amy's nose.

After a bit of a rest, we went back to the beach in front of 9600 to meet a bunch of friends and their kids for a barbeque.

Aden of course liked the older girls the best.

Yummy cupcakes!

It got chilly! We needed sweat shirts.

Aden wanted to check out the life guard stand.

I love these pics.

Don't rock the boat!

Sunset was pretty.

Aden chased the birds right into the water.

I love seeing that smile.

Ocean City in the distance.

And Atlantic City.

Where are those fireworks already?

The kids are ready!

Jaime (my Bar Mitzvah partner), Jordan and Jared.

It's hard to see but the beach was packed.

The fireworks were kind of lame. Aden learned a new word though. I didn't think he would ever stop saying fireworks. At least he wasn't scared!

Happy 4th!!!

It's a very hot Tuesday morning and I'm back at work. It's supposed to be over 100 today! Here are some pics from Friday and Saturday. The next post will be much bigger. Maura sat last Thursday night and when she came over, she brought her sister's old wagon. Friday after work, Aden wanted a ride. Wagon is his new favorite word.

After a not terrible 2 1/2 hour trip to the shore, Aden switched to his tricycle. There were a bunch of accidents on top of the normal 4th of July traffic so it took some people over 4 hours. We went a new secret way and it wasn't bad.

He wanted to ride his bike to the beach so that's where we went. Now the last few weeks, we wasn't thrilled with the beach. Now, all the sudden, he just wanted to run!

I's so glad he feels comfortable there finally. Friday night we stayed in.

Saturday morning, we went for a walk.

Aden noticed Lucy the Elephant.

We only made it as far as the playground.

This is the face of a two year old headed to the beach!

And off he goes!

He ran so much he wore himself out!

The beach was super crowded.

Ahhh, water.

Saturday night, we got a sitter and went to Sage for dinner with Jen and Mike and Melissa. The dinner was good but way too long. Over an hour an a half from ordering to eating! Then we went to the Greenhouse. It was nice to be back. We knew so many people. It was great to spend time with Jason, Rachel and Liz. I had Amy out past 12! This picture is from an iPhone app.

Happy Birthday Aunt Melissa!!!

It's a big month for aunt Melissa. It's starts with her birthday and ends with her wedding! Wow! Let's all help her enjoy it all! We love you!!!

Aden did better at camp yesterday. It's a hard adjustment but Aden is good in new situations. He wanted to go up to the school playground again after camp.

Amy is taking a Photoshop class so she has had my camera all week so most of the pictures the last few days were taken on my iPhone.

He liked the bouncy walkway.

Time to cool off!

Aunt Bevie came over to give Aden his first official birthday present 2 weeks early!

Wow, what is that Aden?

Let's go outside and play!

It's so much fun!

Not quite warm enough. Aden is spoiled with my parents 90 degree pool.

Sweet.
