23 Months

Yesterday was Ariel's 23 month birthday!!!  So close to 2 years!  I will show you more pics from this impromptu love fest later.
Saturday night, Amy and I went into the city for the Golden Slipper auction party.  It was at an old armory on 23rd Street.
Mardi Gras theme.
There were food trucks there serving yummy food.
I was impressed.  It's an older club but this crowd was very young.
The food trucks were a cool idea but they had a hard time keeping up with the demand.  Hungry people can get nasty!

We had a lot of fun meeting new people and bidding on cool auction items.
Amy got a really pretty pair of earrings and we got special VIP tickets to any of the Good Morning America summer concerts in Central Park.  Amy is a huge fan of GMA.  Our friend got the biggest prize of the night.  Two tickets to the Primetime Emmy's next year!
Of course the Mummers stopped by.
There was an after party upstairs.
Complete with a candy bar and "adult" milkshakes.
 The milkshakes were yummy.
It was a fun night and we were out really late!
Sunday morning, Ariel got to experience Mardi Gras herself!
Even though the Eagles game was tough to watch last week, I went again.
Jason came in from North Jersey and we had a very nice lunch at Xfinity Live where the Spectrum used to be.
As you know by now, the game was equally as bad.
It thought this was a neat shot.
It was a nice day to be outside regardless of what was happening on the field.
I think I might be done for the season.
Amy took these pictures during the day.  Aden was dressed up for Mark!

Sunday night we cooked and stayed in.
 Someone really needs a haircut.

Touch a Truck

Saturday morning we had soccer.  It was just Aden and I.  It was a bit too cold for the girls.  Speaking of cold.  Thankfully we only have 2 more games.
The kids warmed up running around.  What about us?
 Buddy! Jake's dad had him.

 Go Aden!
 It warmed up pretty quickly.
Look who it is, neighbor Jason.
Aden, Jake and Buddy.  Aden is starting to realize that after 5 years together that he and Jake will be going to different schools for first grade.  I'm sad for him.
The buddies, sharing a hot chocolate.

 Get your own!
We all met up at the doctor's office.  This was the pre-flu shot smile.  What a factory.  They had almost 200 shots scheduled for Saturday morning.  Aden got the spray but poor Ariel was 2 months too young and needed the regular shot.  She took it like a man!
I took the kids to the Warminster Community Park.  I had never been there before.  I had heard about the this whole town where kids can ride their bikes.
It was Touch a Truck Day.
 Aden touched many trucks!
 So big!
Look who we ran into!  Jax!
Chad and Jaxson were out there in the cold with us.
 All kinds of trucks.
 There they are.
This was kind of cool.  The guy opened up the back of the trash truck and the thing that pushes out the trash came out.  It was huge!

 Checking out the fire truck.
 Helicopter!

Ok, enough trucks.  Time to go home and warm up!
