The Golf Champion

Two weeks ago Monday, I played my first round of golf.  It was a charity event for our synagogue.  I've always wanted to go and it was my drive to learn golf, but that hadn't gone very well.  I went anyway!

All lined up and ready to go!
My foursome.  By buddy Dave and 2 other guys he knew.  They took good care of me and taught me a lot.
We got some swag.
One hole had a gun!
Boom!
The golf carts were so cool.  They had GPS.

They said for a beginner, I did pretty well.  We played best ball which means we all shoot and then we all shoot from the spot of the best first shot.  Needless to say, I was not usually the best shot but I'm proud to say that 5 of my balls were the best!
It was exhausting to play 18 holes!  I had a lot fon fun though.  We had some great talks.
While we were out there, Amy and the girls were playing mahjong.
Then we all met for lunch.

I was so happy we got to experience this together!
Hey Ali!
Aden was acknowledged for his scholarship from the synagogue.
They had some awards.  Our team sadly didn't win.
That night, Eli had his orchestra concert.

Pep talk by the principal.
There's Eli.

Great job kids!

Eli hates having his picture taken.  Lol.
