Amy is 40!

It's Monday night, Memorial Day, and we are back from our first shore weekend of the summer.  We had fun even though the weather wasn't so great.  It was Amy's birthday and our anniversary so we had a lot to celebrate.  We got all the kids in bed by 8:30 tonight so I guess they were worn out!  Let's go back to Amy's birthday celebration last Sunday.

We had an intimate dinner with some family and friends at Vecchia Osteria in Newtown.  My sister did most of the decorating.  She's the artistic one in the family and did a great job.

Since sadly our cake lady retired, we had to find a new one.  The cake came out beautifully.

The two older kids and Eva were there.

 The pretty sisters.

 Me with Chad and Todd.
Ariel is always up for posing.  My only child that will!
 My high school buddies.
Lovely Lindsay and Ali.  I'm a lucky guy!
 The kid's table!

Everyone seemed to love the food.
 Some family pics.

 Eating that cake!
Home late to open presents!

The Royal Wedding

It's Thursday night.  It was really rough getting all the kids to bed tonight.  They were all riled up from running around outside after dinner.  It was too warm to stay inside.  What's everyone doing for the holiday weekend?  The weather looks like kind of a bummer.  Back to last Saturday.

We woke up early to watch the royal wedding with 29 million other Americans.  Aden kept asking why Carson Wentz was getting married.  Prince Harry really does lok like him.
 The Queen in green.
 Awwww.
We took the kids to the mall to have lunch and walk around because it was a rainy day.  We literally lasted 5 minutes.  We tried to sit down at a restaurant but the twins were crazy so we gave up and went home.
This is how I felt about that.  I don't think I ever got lunch.
Amy went out that night to a girl's bingo.  These are the gift baskets she won.
Sunday morning the kids ran out to play in their pjs.

There's a few babies in that stroller.
Aden serenaded is with is guitar.
We just hung around the house.
Madi came to help out with the kids.
Ariel had a birthday party at TNT Amusements.  I really don't think it was an appropriate place for 6 year olds.  Aden has had several parties here and even he doesn't get it.  It's full of video games that we played as kids.  Today's kids really aren't going to play Pac Man.

Ariel was uncharacteristically nervous and upset at a party.  She really just wanted to leave.

I am bad.  I left her there to run errands and her friend drove her home.  Anyway have a great weekend.  I might not post on Monday so see you Tuesday!

Ariel Will Sleep Anywhere

Some random pics from last week.  The boys worked on their homework.

There's Mrs. Maria who is going to babysit the kids soon!
 A little wrestling.

The bench was a good idea.  The boys like to stand on it and look out over the backyard.
 Eli was busy fixing things.

Ariel's friend told her about a sleepover at the NAC on Friday night.  She was determined to do it and talked us into it.  I dropped her off at 8 pm.
The kids first went to the pool.  Then they did some gymnastics.  We couldn't get a straight answer from them how late they stayed up.
I walked through the gym and sent this pic to my trainer and others to convince them I was working out at 8:30 on a Friday night.  Unlikely!
This was Saturday morning.  Ariel is so quick to sleep anywhere but home while Aden is the total opposite.  He always wants to sleep at home.
She was mad at me about something.
Back home for breakfast.  Eli buttered his own bread!
Dance class.  How is she awake?
 Dr. Eli checked out daddy.
 All healthy!
