Maryland Bat Mitzvah

Last Saturday, I drove Ariel and 4 camp friends to Maryland, right outside Washington DC for Abby's bat mitzvah.  It's about a 3 hour drive without traffic.  It took us 5!  It was nice that Biden welcomed us to Delaware.
Five hours of crazy girls doing Tiktoks and singing.

It was rainy when we left and there was a lot of traffic and we had to stop at every rest stop.  Although the weather got better the further south we got.
We finally made it and stopped by cousin Sandy's house to say hi.
Ariel really loved her dogs.
The girls ran all over the house.
Wish we had time for a movie.
Cuties!
Checking out the gym.

Ariel wanted to take Ollie home.
She fed us.  Of course we had snacked the whole way down too.

More Ollie love.
They checked out the secret loft.

The dogs watched.

Then we headed to Royce's 5 minutes away.  The Maryland camp girls were waiting for us.
This was to be there accomodations for the night.
More food!  They had cookies and doughnuts and brownies!

We also brought soft pretzels which the Maryland girls loved.
So, later, I went with the cousins to their country club for dinner.  The food was awesome but I was so full from the day of snacking.  Ariel's bat mitzvah was at the same country club!  So Ariel and Emily came to say hi while we ate.
Then we went to check out the party.  This entry was cool.

Congrats Abby!
The girls had a blast.
Me with the cousins and Royce's mom and boyfriend.  They all know each other.
Some shots of the girls.
Go Camp Saginaw!  It was a late night!
