Emily's Mitzvah

Last Saturday, we had Emily's bat mitzvah.  I took Ariel to Harper's house to get ready.  This was them headed to Shir Ami.

It was an evening service.  It was very nice.  

This was my favorite part of the service.  Emily's picture of her volunteering.  Ariel is still laughing.  

The kids took a bus to the party at the Northampton Country Club.  

We stopped by the house on the way to the party.  Aden usually hides when we have sitters but not this time.  He was interested in them and tried to be around and helpful all night.  

We got to the party.  We found our table and headed in.  

The Camp Saginaw girls!  It was nice to see them all again.  

We got to go outside for cocktail hour.  The moon was there.  

Rachael made the centerpieces herself.  

The camp girls lit a candle.

Ariel and Harper were twinsies.

The girls danced and sang all night.

I called Rachael the other of the bride and she got upset.  I guess she's not ready for that yet!

This was a cute idea.  

Coke and Pepsi time.  Ariel was Emily's partner so there was no chance she wasn't winning!

The kids took the bus back to Emily's to sleep over.
