Big Boy Bath

School is getting better for us. There is a lot more communication and they swear he is doing great. Loves to try new activities and stares at the door where the snacks come from. Is he really my son? He never stops eating! We are just amazed at how dirty he is when we pick him up.

What are those, sweat stains?

Touchdown!!! Getting ready for the Eagles Sunday.

For the first time, Aden took a bath without the small tub and actually enjoyed it. He's such a big boy! He loves the toys.

Clean baby!

He is never thrilled when we towel him off.

A little snuggling before we attempt to dress him.

For a while, he seemed to be getting thinner but all the sudden, the Buddah belly is bigger than ever!

He still tries to escape so we can't put on his pj's.

Snuggle with the bear and the fox.

Finally time to go to sleep!

Up The Stairs

Wednesday was much better at school. The head teacher called Amy and apologized for all the weird things that happened the first day. She also said that Aden was doing really well and having a lot of fun. We will give it the rest of the week and see how it goes. He seems to be adjusting to the one nap a day although Amy doesn't think the hour to hour and a half he is getting is enough. He also came home very hungry and actually started to cry until we fed him. We gave him a snack then went for a short walk as it started to rain. Where can we get him good shoes? His Crocks just aren't cutting it!

Melissa and Mark stopped by. Mark chased Aden up the stairs.

He can really move when he wants to. Sorry I don't have any more pictures. Actually all caught up. Since we are not going to the Shore this weekend, maybe we will actually get some stuff dine around the house. We are still missing lights and door knobs! Not to mention a working door bell.

Breezy Point

Tuesday was Aden's first day at Breezy Point. We were nervous but he had no idea anything different was happening.

We packed up his Transformers backpack with all the stuff he needed. They provide milk, water and snacks, but we still sent snacks anyway. Also a sleeping bag for the plastic bin that he will be sleeping in.

All ready to go. It's only about 1 1/2 miles from our house, but we have to cross two crazy intersections to get there.

It was total chaos. Babies and mommies crying and screaming. Aden just started exploring and seemed fine. He did reach for me as I was leaving which got to me a little but I knew he would be ok.

We need to get him walking so he can check out the grounds with the other kids.

Aden's room is where the stone is.

The older kids probably have a ton of fun at this place.

Well, it was a mixed bag. Amy picked him up around 4:30. They said he had a great day and didn't cry at all. Sounds good except that he had a rash over his entire body and scraped knees, neither of which they mentioned or seemed concerned about. It was too late to see a doctor so went across the street to see our neighbor the pediatrician. He said the rash was caused by a virus and it should pass quickly and that he was not contagious. It didn't seem to bother him at all, so we were relieved. The kids were playing outside, which probably explains the knees.

Uncle Mark came to visit.

Aden tried out a new snack. He loves to eat!

He then wanted to join us at the dinner table. That steak looks good!

Aden and His Harem

Today is Aden's first day at Breezy Point, but more on that later.

Sunday, we got going early for a brunch. Kevin, Andrea and Jordyn were in town from Atlanta and very graciously invited us to their house.

Aden was in his glory, surrounded by Jordyn, Rylee, Reese and Emma. They were all fighting over him!

He asked for the keys to the car but I had to refuse. We need to meet their parents first. Oh, forgot, we already know them! Now we definitely are keeping him away from them! Just kidding. We love you guys!

We were all excited to meet Jordyn. Such a cutey!

The pretty moms!

The whole gang. Rose in the middle and Kevin on the end are first cousins.

We had a great time, then we headed home to get Aden his lunch and possibly a nap.

First, a few cartoons on Youtube. Go on to Youtube and search for Elmo and ducks. You will see Aden's favorite video.

We then went for a walk with Kevin, Andrea and Jordyn. We made it as far as the Dairy Bar. So much for exercise. We know someone was happy!

Aden wanted to give Jordyn hugs and kisses. Too cute.

He is going to miss her!

I guess we are going to have to make a trip to Atlanta!

Sunday night, my family came over Amy's house and we had a barbeque. First, Aden needed a bath. Look how long his hair is!

The weather wasn't that great Sunday, so it was kind of a lazy day. No beach. It was nice to see everyone though.

Monday morning, it was pouring rain, so we decided just to pack up and leave. Melissa did a great job entertaining Aden in the back seat. I don't know how we fit all of our stuff in the car but we did. The roads weren't too bad. We stopped in Cherry Hill to visit Mark, Alicia, Zach and Alexa.

Aden went right for the bottle. It was our first time at their house. They moved three years ago and we just never made it. We felt so bad. These kids are lucky. Mark has never grown up so the toys are amazing.

This was in their basement. Aden's favorite part was the mini roller coaster!

Ok buddy, time to go, this day is far from over!

We dropped off Mel, freshened up at her apartment, then headed to Becky and Larry's house for Sam's first birthday party.

They just moved into a very nice house in Willow Grove. There was lots of pizza and cake.

Aden liked playing with all the kids.

Aden was an angel all day even though he barely slept, but it was time to get him home to prepare for school tomorrow.

Bye Sam, Happy Birthday and thanks for inviting us!
