Dad's Birthday

Last Saturday was my dad's birthday.  I took Eli to find cake.  We talked to Steve next door first.  

There are dogs hanging out of every window of this car.  

While we were driving, we saw the Goodyear Blimp!

So cool!

We went to the beach.  There was a rainbow!

My dad and his friend joined us.  His friend's daughter and granddaughter came too.  Liza made Eli go out into the ocean.  Eli usually does not like the ocean but peer pressure worked this time.  

She even got him on the boogie board.  

He ended up going so far out that Amy got nervous and she had the lifeguards wave him in.  

Hard to tell but there were double rainbows!

Amy got some beach coffee.  

Then it was pool time.

The kids swam and I made dinner.  Kept it simple.  Burgers and dogs.

Back in the pool.  

Then it was birthday cake time!

Honey met Benji next door.  

Amy got together a late night, mean game of mah jong.
