Peachy Paterno

It's Wednesday morning and it's already crazy. I don't have time for a big post but I will catch you up. Monday, Aden was ready to go for a ride.

Now I just need a helmet his size.

Monday night we barbequed.

Treats from Penn State! College Diner sticky buns and Peachy Paterno!

Ummmm. Ice cream.

Aden and his buddies.

Aden the Merman

Saturday afternoon I took Aden to my parents' pool. It was his first time in a pool since last summer so we weren't sure how he would react. Just as in every new situation, he slowly warmed up to it. He spent the first hour on the top step.

Played some games...

Then he let me carry him around the pool a little.

A quick snack.

Then out of the pool.

Then the second step.

Finally, swimming with grandpop!

Aden kicked and blew bubbles, we were so excited!

We didn't get the hair wet this time. Aden is going to the ent this week to have his ears checked so dunking might not have been the best idea.

No dunking but plenty of dipping. He was dipping his chips in the salsa and eating it! That was a first.

That was fun, can't wait to do it again soon!

Later, I stopped by Jaime and Abby's house so Aden could play with the kids.

Jared is 6 weeks younger than Aden and so very different. Aden is mellow and Jared is a bit on the wild side.

Aden had a lot of fun playing with Amanda and her friend Taylor. Some future potential babysitters? Sunday, I didn't take any pictures. Aden was not in the best mood. Amy came back and we went to a high school graduation party and had dinner there.

Just the Boys

Phew. What a weekend. Just me and the baby bonding. The girls were off at Penn State doing who knows what with who knows who. Friday, I picked up Aden from jail, I mean school.

Our little fashion model.

My dad and sister were at the Flyer's game so I met my mom and grandmother at Lambertis. They are both bubbies but Aden is not confused. He says bubbie for my mom and daddy's bubbie for my grandmom.

A little ice cream always hits the spot.

We stopped into the $5 store. Aden didn't know where to look first.

Crazy place.

Comfy!

He got some chalk for the driveway and hula hoops!

Then we stopped by Adam's house for a quick visit.

Aden still prefers older women. He was much more interested Liana then Jasmine.

Bouncy bouncy!

Aden was having way too much fun at 9:00. I'm so bad, he never would have been doing this if Amy was around.

Ok, you can watch a little of the Flyers game!

Even though he went to bed late, he was wide awake at 6. Since it was going to be too hot to play outside later I figured we should get in some swing set time.

Climbing in his pjs, sandals and full diaper!

Almost there! I guess it's good exercise so I didn't help him.

This was one of those moments I wish I could freeze.

Back inside for some coloring.

Guess what we are doing this afternoon Aden. Going swimming! More on that later.
