First Day in Rome

Last Sunday, we were flying over the alps.
We finally made it to Italy after a 9 hour flight.  We all slept a little.  It wasn't too bad.

Shuttle bus.
Waiting for our bags.

We got picked up and headed into Rome.

We made it to our hotel near the Spanish Steps around 1.
The hotel was nice.

Then we went to find lunch.  Aden usually hates having his picture taken but he kept posing the whole time.
Our first Italian meal!

Yum!
It was a nice day.
We then walked over to the Spanish Steps.
Posing at the top.

Then we started walking down.
We were told you aren't allow to sit on the steps.  I guess it's not enforced.
Very crowded!

Lots of fancy shops.

Ariel found a Brandy Melville!  We figured out it's an Italian brand.
We had our first gelato.

We loved people watching.  Everyone was dressed so well!
Lots of motorcycles.  We went back to unpack and rest.
I went for a walk with Ariel.
We found the Trevi Fountain!
There was a Church right there we checked out.
So cool!  And crowded!
I tried a maritozzi
We went back to get everyone then we all took a really long walk to dinner.

The Parthenon!
This was the first time the boys got pizza.

Gluten free meatballs!
Eli loved the pizza!  lol.
Noah too!
The square lively.

Finally back after a long but exciting day.
Once the twins were asleep, Ariel and Aden and I went to find more gelato.
Yum!

On Our Way to Italy

It's Monday and we are back from Italy!  We had fun but we are totally exhausted!  I have so many pics to share.  Hold on...  Last Saturday, we had Julia's bat mitzvah.
Beautiful sisters!

The party was at the synagogue like Ariel's.  Same caterer too.

Ariel was our only kid invited.

We had fun dancing but we were still not totally packed!

We left a bit early and headed home to get ready for Italy.  We were picked up at 5.
We went to JFK via the Verrazzaon Bridge.
NYC!
It took about 2 hours.
We got on to Italian Airlines around 10.
We had like nine hours ahead of us until Rome.
A late night lasagna dinner!

Jiffy Pop

Last Friday, I drove Ariel to school and there was a very creepy rabbit waiting for her.
She was scared to pass the rabbit!
Eli printed a huge gorilla!
He's been wanting to try Jiffy Pop.
Ok what’s taking so long?
It takes a longer time then I remember.
Here we go!
Yum!
Ariel had lacrosse practice in the cold.  Have a great weekend!

Deer Crossing

Last Tuesday, I was at the gym and they opened their new studio.  It's a hot yoga studio.  Ugh.  I hate to exercise when I'm hot.
It was a nice night.  We grilled.
And watched the deer.
Last Wednesday, Eli made French toast.
Then he 3d printed a highland cow.  So cute.
Last Thursday, I had to wait for the deer to cross before I could take the boys to school.
After school, Ariel and I went for a long walk.  It was almost 80 degrees!

Eli was back on the swingset.

Yay America!
Ariel tried on some outfits for us.
Then showed us her new nails.
Ariel and I watched the Godfather the other night.  This night we started the Godfather 2!
