Cold and Rainy

Saturday morning, we drove to the boardwalk and took a nice long walk. Aden was in a daze the whole time. I just realized I didn't take any pictures. The boardwalk was surprisingly crowded at 10, I guess people slept in. After a quick brunch at the Ventnor Cafe, we headed back to get ready for the beach. Yes, the forecast had been for cold and rainy weather but it was warm and sunny! Aden put on his Baby Cotton terry cloth outfit.

We had been dreading the thought of taking our stuff as well as Aden's stuff and Aden to the beach, but it really wasn't that bad. Our beach does not have steps but we went to the Adam's Ave beach instead so we did have to carry everything up and over.

Here's a flashback to last Summer. Aden was about a month and Alyssa two.

Aden and Alyssa, together again! It's been a long Winter with Alyssa being in North Jersey so Aden was excited to see her!

Alyssa is one month older than Aden exactly and so advanced. She walks, talks and only eats real food!

Go Alyssa!

Melissa and Clarisse excited to be back.

Rose and Randy came down to stay with Adam and Ellen. It was Rylee and Reese's first time on the beach!

What is she doing in the background?

We had a big crowd. In fact, most of the beach was related to us somehow!

Proud daddy Randy.

We have one of those tents for Aden that pops up. We used it last year a little. I probably remarked at how hard to was to fold it back up. Well, it's still hard. We had several very intelligent people trying to figure it out but in the end we gave up! I was checking Youtube later and there are hundreds of videos of people trying to fold these tents. It's pretty funny.

That night, we had an impromptu birthday celebration for Amy at Judy's house. Her birthday is Tuesday!

Aunt Lauren came with Melissa. Their dinner plans were at 9, so they hung out a while.

Aden was showing everyone how he stands up.

We took Aden back and when he fell asleep, went over to Adam and Ellen's to hang out.

The Shore!!

Friday morning, I took Aden to Amy's school for field day. We just stayed for the opening activities. Aden loved looking at all the kids.

Go Orange! Go Black!

The kids were all excited.

After work we rushed to pack for the weekend. We totally filled up Amy's car. Of course we took enough for a couple of weeks, not days but we didn't know what the weather was going to be like to we had to be prepared.

The roses at our house are blooming! I will put up pictures later of the yard so you can see it with and without the trellises.

We were worried about traffic so we took 73 instead of the Atlantic City Expressway. Turns out it wasn't bad. We passed this place on the way, looks like fun!

We finally made it!!! The Winters alway seem so long and the Summers so short. It's crazy to think how little Aden was the last time he was here. He did not have those thighs!

Amy's parents came down with the dogs so Aden got to play with them a little before bed.

This is now Sunday morning and the weather is still decent. We made it to the beach yesterday! I have plenty of pictures from Saturday to post later. See ya!

It's Shore Time!!!

Who is headed to the Shore today?!? Thursday morning the landscapers came to tear out the huge trellises in our backyard so Aden had to wait around. I will post pics of that.

He rolled/crawled over to the wall and sat up.

Then stood up! (with a little help)

At school, Aden's new favorite toys are the piano and the thing you push and it pops. I will have to get him both. I will post a video soon.

Ready for breakfast.

Give to Daddy, Give to Aden

Have to run to a meeting so I will just throw these up. The landscaper is at my house and he is driving me crazy. This was Wednesday morning.

Someone woke up in a good mood.

When I am working on this in the morning Aden is usually sitting near the desk playing. Lately he has found my stuff more interesting.

Little troublemaker!

He played so much, he got tired out.

This was after work we played give the ball to daddy, then give the ball to Aden. I will put up a video of this.

Then we went to Amy's school for literary art night, whatever that means. All the kids made books which were displayed. Amy's kids love to see Aden. Aden loved the tree.

Some cute shots taken outside while we fed him.
