Nice Beach Day

Today was the first day of camp!  The kids had been talking about going to camp all winter long.  We can't believe it's finally here. Ariel and Aden had a good time playing and reconnecting with old friends.  The start of camp also starts the countdown on Summer.  Oy vey.  I need to finish off last weekend so here is a huge post.

These are not in order because I used 3 different cameras and I don't feel like trying to organize them.  The twins did well on the beach.  Stayed pretty close for the most part.

I love the shots with the whole beach in the distance.
Ariel was daring with the freezing ocean.
Brianna kept an eye on her.

It's Barry and Noah!  We haven't seen them since last summer.
 These babies can dig!

 Our spot on the beach.

Noah got Aden close to the water.
 Still not going in.

There's an abandoned ice cream cart and Aden didn't even notice.
 Oh, he's back.
 Looking good Brianna.

The water came up on the beach so we had our own little lake.

 Such nice sharing Ariel.

So Noah was sitting and relaxing.  But where was Eli?
A block away!  Here's Aden chasing after him.
I caught up with them, Eli was walking after a bird.  I guess we have to keep a close eye on them after all.
Back to the pool for a bit.
 The boys want to slide!
 Practicing her best teenager.
 Dinner time.
Eli didn't sit very long.  I had to chase him around the block.

Adam helped get the kids in the car.

Happy Father's Day!

I must love you people.  Even though it's around 1 am Sunday night, I am giving you a huge post.  I just got back from the Grateful Dead concert.  That was fun!  I'm a but wired so here we go:

I left you last Saturday morning, we saw Adam and Brianna.  Then we headed to the pool.

 But then it started pouring!
They hung out under the umbrella.
 Post rain mist.
It was over fast and the sun came out so the neighbors joined us in the pool.
We are ready too!

Noah is becoming quite the daredevil
Taking after his big brother.
Ice cream time.

Saturday night Clarisse was awesome enough to babysit.  Amy and I got out for a nice dinner.  Sunday morning was Father's Day!  The kids had a beautiful gift for me.
A monogrammed box to hold all my pocket stuff at the shore.
 Where is daddy?

Where are you going Eli?
Oh, with daddy to get his Father's Day doughnut!
We had a brunch at our house.
It was the most people we had at once!
 My handsome little man.
The outdoor furniture got some use.

These were the best out of about 20 shots!

Ariel finally started smiling when everyone else gave up!
