Finding Heather in EPCOT

Last Saturday, we got up early again to hit the park.  Mickey and Yeti were alreadu up and ready to go!

We walked to EPCOT.

That's the Swan across the way.  

Then we walked across the boardwalk.  

We took the kids into the Boardwalk Hotel to see the Lucy!

There she is!  That's so cool that she's there.  

We walked into EPCOT and stopped at Paris.  

So pretty.

We ran into Dave and Julia.  

Then we did the Ratatouille ride.  

We found Bat Mitzvah girl Harper and Ben.

We walked around the countries.  It was already pretty hot.

We did the Frozen ride.

We had lunch in Mexico.  

We ran into teen boys we know.  

Noah fed an Ibis while wearing a shirt with Sebastian the Ibis!

Ariel and Noah went on Mission Space and got stuck for a while.  

Then we had a nice surprise!  Heather our old sitter that moved to Florida joined us.  The kids hadn't seen her since December.

We got some nice pics of us.  It was like old times.  

Then we went on Test Track.  

Ariel's favorite ride. 

They went on Guardians of the Galaxy.  I skipped it.  I didn't want to get sick again.  

They loved it!

Then we walked back to the hotel.  

Eli and Heather went in the pool then it started to thunderstorm!

We ran into the bar area to get out of the rain.  We found Dave there.  

When the people left the pool, the ducks flew right in!  To be continued...

 

Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios

Last Friday, we were back at Disney!  We went to sleep at 4:30 and woke up at 7!  We had a schedule to keep.  Sleep is for the weak.  First stop Animal Kingdom.

It's an ibis like the mascot from Miami.  

I paid for the photo package so we took pics.

These are funny.

It was a cold ride.  

Actually it was insanely hot.  And drizzly.  The kids did the roller coaster again!

Then we went to see the new Zootopia show at the Tree of Life.  

We saw a turtle walking in.  

It was a fun show.  

Then we did the safari ride.  

Lots of cool animals.  

Then we went to Avatar Land.

Back to the hotel.  Amy, Noah and Ariel rested.  I took Eli to the pool.  

It was a huge pool complex between the Swan and Dolphin Hotels.  

There was even a beach.  

We had friends at the pool!

We went back and got ready.  We left Ariel with our friends Dave and Julia to go to a cocktail party.  

We took the boat to Hollywood Studios.  

We were here about a year before.

We went on the Milennium Falcon.  

The ride was updated a little.  

Yum!  Blue Milk.  

Amy then took the twins on Slinky Dog.  I didn't go.  It makes me sick.  

Then we had dinner.  

It was a 50's cafe.  The waitress sat with us and had a lot personality.  

Then Amy took Eli to do a ride.  

I went with Noah to Rock n Roller Coaster, which is now Muppets themed.  

Look at my face!  It made me so sick.  

Then we saw the big show Fantasmic.  

What an exhausting day.  Yeti and Mickey couldn't wait to go to sleep.  Have a great weekend!  Much more Disney to come!
