The snow had not started before we went to bed Tuesday night. We woke up on Wednesday to about 7 fresh inches and it was raining.
The neighbors took this reprieve as an opportunity to shovel and play. We stayed in.
It was a lot of work to keep Aden entertained all day.

He even baked some chocolate chip muffins. Yummy. (ok that was me)
Then played his flute.
The snow finally came back and it was crazy. A total white out for hours.
It was actually scary with the howling winds. My grandmother lost power for hours. Amy parents also lost it for a while. We were ok. I cranked the heat up to like 72 and had the fireplace going just in case but the lights only dimmed a few times.

It was still snowing heavily at 12.
There are 5 steps down out our back door. The snow was higher than the steps!
