Biblical Flood

What was that?  We left the Shore around 4.  Melissa and Mark were due home from their trip around 5 so we figured we would meet them for dinner.  It didn't rain at all at the Shore and we had no idea that in Philly, they had the most rain in one period in recorded history, over 8 inches!  As we got closer to the City all traffic stopped.  The creeks chose that time to overflow.  We were cut off from getting home.  We saw on Facebook others that were stuck in traffic for hours and actually turing their cars off.  We were able to get off the highway and grab dinner but ended up driving South away from the City to the Commodore Barry Bridge to avoid all the traffic and closures.  With a quick stop for dinner, we got home at 10!  Melissa and Mark ended up getting stuck at JFK and having to rent a car to get home and also got home around 10.

Back to Friday morning.  It was time for Burghy to go to the doggie hotel for the weekend.  Some last minute bonding.
Practicing their yoga.  Aden has a strong downward facing dog.

Bye Burghy!  The kids were so sad.
 Gym class!
 Hey Jax!

 She loves to bounce.
We made it to the Shore pretty quickly.  We spent the weekend at my parent's house.  My dad showed Aden some yo-yo tricks.
Dinner at Bocca.  This is her "cheese" face.

Saturday morning, I was up with the kids.  Everyone else was asleep.  Ariel was very busy.
 Melmo!

She loves to brush her teeth by herself.
 Trying out the chalk board.
Great job Aden!  I have lots more pics so check back for a possible second update today.
