Rescheduled Fourth of July

Wow it was warm today.  Almost 100!  And it was also Aden's late night at camp.  Ariel had an incident at camp.  She walked into a gate and got a black eye!  After a trip to the nurse, she was ready to go back and play with her bunk.  She's  tough one.

Saturday morning, Hurricane Arthur was gone but the winds weren't.  It was windy all day.  Of course Ariel and I were outside walking Burghy before 7.  It was in the 50's!
We picked up Juniors and ate on my parent's deck.
Good morning Eva!  You should see the way she kisses Aden!  Too cute!
Finally it was beach time.  Aden and my dad tried some horse shoes.
Someone was happier than she was last time we were on the beach and she wouldn't get out of the stroller.

He guys, stop hitting on my girl, you do realize she's only 2!
The water was freezing.  It had been unusually warm the last few weeks, but the hurricane brought lots of cold water with it.
 We walked around.
 And ran into Alex!

The beach was the most crowded I ever remember it being.  It was actually uncomfortable and we didn't stay long.
 Time to swim.
Both Aden and Ariel were swimming on their own.
 A first for Ariel!
 Eva is ready to go!
 Eva loved it!
Or at least didn't hate it.
Hey there cutie!
Go Ariel!
She's ahead of Aden already in swimming!
Aden would prefer to shoot his gun.
Just chillin'
Saturday night we went to Judy and Dave's for a rescheduled picnic.
 A cup is endless entertainment.
Adam and Brianna are still around and might even stay another 2 weeks!

 The kids had fun playing.
I don't seem to have any pictures of the adults.  They always throw a great barbecue.  So much to eat.  Thanks guys!

 Adam is a man now!
We had to rush back to get ready for the fireworks.  Amy got Ariel to bed while I walked with Aden to the beach.  I know it's fruitless to take pics of fireworks, but this one came out ok.  The show was decent but it was really cold and we were tired and couldn't wait to get to bed.
