Generals are Number 1

Last Saturday, we got up early to get ready for the competition.  We got to see the beach in the sun!

Ariel got ready with Tessa then we headed to the convention center.  

It was warm enough that we didn't wear jackets.  

It seemed quieter this year.  

Ariel found friends.  

 Then it was makeup time.

Here they go!  I was nervous as Ariel was but there was nothing to fear.  Ariel did awesome!

She hit all her stunts.  

Then we had some time to wait for judging.  

The little ones danced.  

Then it was time.  

Woo hoo!  We came in first!

The chicken was a running joke.  

Then we headed outside for pics.  Jared got this of me.

We drove 2 hours back and picked up the twins and Harper and went to dinner.  

Then we finished that long day with Rita's Water Ice!
