Last Sunday, I woke up early and took my car to charge. Then I went for a run around the campus.
Here we go! We keep hearing this is the snowiest campus in the country. It's also incredibly hilly, which I didn't expect. How do these kids get around? I saw some nice buildings as I ran.
It was so quiet there.
I ran up those stairs!
There were monuments all over from different classes.
It was a nice cool morning.
We were high up!
Here's where the football and basketball teams play. The twins thought it looked like a roller coaster on top.
Watch those kisses!
We went to breakfast.
This place was super cute.
They had really fun foods.
Then it was move in time. This is Day Hall at the very top of the hill.
Here we go!
Up to Aden's room!
Not air conditioned and it was hot and humid.
We made the bed and helped Aden unpack.
Aden is a real Syracuse student!
He got a list of activities for that day.
We checked out the dorm.
Of course Noah entertained us.
Lots of Orange on this campus.
There is a huge set of stairs to get us down to the campus.
We walked to the Union.
The boys liked Otto the Orange Man.
Orange is my favorite color so I got a kick out of everything.
Then it started pouring! We bought an umbrella.
We went back up the hill to get Aden to his dorm. Those stairs were a workout!
We drove straight home. It's actually not a bad drive. Like 4 hours through pretty mountains and valleys.
Ariel felt sick at camp and wanted to come home so Mark went to get her.
We went to pick her up.
It was nice having her home but sad she didn't feel well.
