Syracuse University

Last Saturday morning, Amy, Aden, the twins and I went off on a road trip.  Looks like we are headed to the mountains.

There's the Lehigh Tunnel.  

After about 3 hours, we made it to Binghamton, New York.  We wanted to see the school that our friend Todd went to.  

Very nice.  

Then we drove into town.  

And found a really cute place for lunch.  The Lost Dog Cafe.  

We had a grea meal then headed off.  

It was another hour to get us to Syracuse.

Welcome to Syracuse University where Aden was about to take a 2 week film class.  We were so excited for him to get a taste of college life.

The buildings were very dramatic.  We wandered around the campus.  

There was a wedding!

We stayed at a hotel on campus.  It was ok, not great.  

Then we drove to Armory Square.  It's the hip part of town.  

There were shops, restaurants and bars.  

We went to a famous the famous Dinosaur Bar-B-Que.

I got a spicy drink.

We waited about 1/2 hour.  

The place was packed.  

Amy liked the message.  

The food was amazing!

We wandered into a street festival.  

Then back to Armory Square where I got a boozy milkshake.
