Broken Vespa

Last Saturday continued.  Margot came to sit.  She took the boys to play mini golf then to get ice cream at the Dairy Bar.
Amy and I went with Ariel, Amy's parents and my dad to Steve and Cookies.  Jealous?
The meal was fabulous as always.  Blueberry pie!
What a handsome group!
Every last crumb.
It was pretty out walking home.
When we got back, the boys were still up.  Kind of defeats the purpose of having a sitter!
Last Sunday kind of sucked.  It was warm and beautiful.  I took Ariel for a ride on the Vespa scooter.  About a mile from home it turned off and wouldn't turn back on.  There was a service station about a mile away.  I decided to push it there.  All 300 pounds of it!
It took me almost 2 hours.  I could only push it a few feet at a time then I needed to rest.  I passed Avera's about halfway there.  I stopped and got a donut and talked to cousin Jared while I recovered a bit.  I finally made it and locked it to big piece of metal at the shop.  This is now over a week later and I still don't know what was wrong with it.  They haven't gotten to it yet.
I went to may dad's to collapse.  It helped that I got kisses from Artie.
I missed out on the whole beautiful day.
