Halloween Decorations

It's Thursday night and we still don't have a president.  It was really warm though, which was nice for Ariel's last outdoor cheer practice of the season.  Here's a flashback.  Amy was pregnant with Ariel and we spent the day driving exotic cars.
I need to do this again soon.
Last Thursday, Aden had tennis after school.
Then Eli went to work hanging the Halloween lights I got him.  He loves to decorate.
Noah copied this picture and did an amazing job.
Eli and the spooky lights.
Alex was over and the girls also drew.

More lights.
Hanging out in the new mudroom.
I made pulled chicken in the pressure cooker.
It came out really well!

Homework time.
More art.

Good job Noah!
Friday morning, the twins were dressed for their Halloween party.

Cute class picture!
Amy dog sat Honey for the day.
She's on my side of the bed!
Amy took Honey to get Aden and his friends from school.
There is Aden!
I picked up the twins.  There are chickens there!

Bye Honey!  Notice Eli is outside.  He will not be anywhere near a dog.
They worked till late Friday and just about finished the mudroom.
The boys got goodies at school.

Ariel went to Alex's house.

Go Jake!
Brrrrr.  Have a great weekend!

One and Done

It's Wednesday night, 24 hours after the polls closed, and we still have no idea who the president will be.  Pretty crazy.  It was much warmer today.  Yay.  And they almost finished the mud room.

I thought this was funny.
Last Wednesday Ariel started school before I left.  She's getting better with the virtual learning.
After work, I took her to Starbucks for a frappuccino.

The mudroom was coming along!

Tiktoks with Heather.

More drawing for the boys.

It was time for Aden's playoff game.
The dogs were ready.  They helped with the lines.
We were losing most of the game.
But Aden turned it one and we almost caught up!  Almost, but not quite.

Aden had some great plays to end the season.
The dogs were crazy the whole time.  They finally got tired.
Great season Aden!  We will have to find one for the Spring.

Finally, A Mudroom

These are from last Monday and Tuesday.

I thought this had some truth to it.
So last Monday, we finally got to one of Amy's long time wishes.  We were getting a mud room.  I might have mentioned this before but our laundry room is upstairs, which we love, but that doesn't leave any room between the garage and the kitchen so all the shoes, bag and jackets get thrown on the kitchen floor.
I took the boys to school.
The guys worked really quickly.  They removed the steps.

Ariel in school.

Then they started framing the new room.  We went out a little further than the alcove.
After work, I came home to this!  A new room in our garage.
So amazing what can be done in a day.
Back to Noah's art work.

Cheer practice.  Cheer is winding down.  They are going to stop at the end of November.  I'm not sure if there will be a Spring session.
More of Noah's writing on Tuesday morning.
How tall are you Eli?
Here's a quick flashback to 8 years ago when Hurricane Sandy was approaching.  Wow, I really don't want to remember that.
They got to work early.
The tile was down early on day 2.
Drawing time.
Then homework time.
Studying for a math test!

Aden and Ariel had dinner at Amy's parent's house.  I went to get them late.
Hey Cooper.
