Ice Cream Cake Gone

Last Tuesday, I took Ariel back to camp.  We stopped at Trader Joes and Wegmans to get some snacks.
Her friends were so happy we returned!  Or maybe they just wanted the ice cream cake we brought back.
The gang!
Bye girls!
Ariel kept her phone for a bit before turning it in and took this pic of the girls finishing off that pretty large ice cream cake!
I hit some golf balls.
I'm working through the bad habits I developed.
Aden wrote a short movie script.  This was the day he did principal photography.  He got some kids from the drama department at school to act.
They came back at night to film more including my scene!
The twins helped out.
Last Wednesday, Jordan, my guitar teacher, worked with Aden and his guitar teacher.  They made some great music!
Eli has been enjoying the summer.

Playing with Vicky.

Rita's at camp!

Happy Birthday Aden!!!

Last Monday, It was Aden's 18th birthday and we had Ariel home with us!  It was so nice and I'm sure she liked sleeping in the air conditioning.  She had to get up early to go to the doctor then she went to visit Taylor.  Even though she wasn't at camp, pics of her were still popping up.  A boy band came to entertain them one night.  The girls were in love!

I took Ariel into the city for another doctor appointment.
Of course we went to Brandy Melville.
Ariel's home away from home.  I think the order is camp, Brandy Melville, then home.

Then it was candy time.

We had lunch at Marathon and then Ariel chased a food delivery robot down the street.
Of course we had to stop at Levain.
We got back, Ariel had fun LoveShackFancy stuff to go through.
We are going to have a hard time taking our yearly beach photo with Aden going to school so early to school so this I think will be it.  All except the twins were going out to a nice dinner.
My sister and dad joined us at the Capital Grill.  Amy and I shared the porterhouse.  Yummy.
Happy Birthday to our first born, who is now a man!  Crazy stuff!
He got a bunch of lottery tickets.
We went back and watched the home run derby at the All Star Game.  Kyle Schwarber from the Phillies came so close to winning it and it was in Philly.  The crowd was going nuts.

Saginaw Visiting Day

Last Sunday was visiting day!  Amy and I and the twins drove the hour and 45 minutes to Camp Saginaw.  We left around 9.  There was a line to get in the camp.
They let us in!  Let's go!
We found Ariel and went into her bunk.  They shared the bunk with the other bunk their age.
It was really hot in there.
Cute
We brought Ariel some Swedish candy.
Besties!
I loved hanging with my girlie!

We had lots of friends there too.
Ariel had her phone for the day.  She called her friends at home and introduced them to her camp friends.
Lunchtime!  It was pretty awful actually.

Cousin time!

This is a nice pic but we are missing Mark and Aden.
It was the best weather we ever had for a visiting day.
Hey!  There's Stef in the ropes course.
Eli and Noah's turn.

The camp got quiet for a moment.

Pool time!

We had fun!

Back to grab our stuff.  It was time to leave.  Ariel was coming with us!  She had a doctors appointment the next day.
This was the official pic minus Aden.
We got home and had some quiet moments.  Ariel ordered some new bathing suits.  It was so nice having her home for a visit.
Aden's birthday cake!
His 18th birthday was the next day.
They both came out good!

It was too nice to sit inside.

Cece hugs!  Ariel really missed her school friends.
