It's Monday night. We are still having a really hard time getting into a good school year schedule. The kids are fighting us about going to bed earlier and with all the activities starting, Amy and I are losing it a bit. It's 9:30 and I still hear Aden and Ariel talking. They should be asleep by now. We also have to come up with a better plan for the mornings which are crazy.
Back to Labor Day Weekend. Sunday was supposed to be nicer, but it wasn't. It was kind of cloudy and cool. We walked over to the Margate firehouse to check things out.
The twins were very excited and kept saying fire truck!
Jason and Rachel brought Eden over.
Eli tried to take someone's bike.
They liked the hats. The older kids would never wear them.
We actually spent a lot of time there.
That's a cool waverunner!
Then we found a new playground to play at. This one was perfect for the little kids.
We ran into people we knew.
The boys put on a show.
Aden and Jason contemplating the world.
We passed by the Pickleball courts. What an odd sport.
It actually got nicer in the late afternoon but Amy and I took the older kids to see the latest Spiderman movie. It was great! Marvel movies usually have teasers after the credits. We waited all the way till the end and then Captain America came out and made fun of us for waiting!
Jordyn came by to say goodbye to us. We never could have survived the summer without her and will all be grateful. Hopefully she will be around next summer before she goes to college!
