Last Thursday morning, I went for a run on the top deck.
The moon above the ship. It was really hard to run with all the people walking slowly!
Getting close to Bermuda!
We had a quiet morning.
A far off glimpse of Bermuda.
Getting closer!
Some ping pong, which was too hard to play because the ball flew everywhere.
It was perfect weather in Bermuda.
We finally parked around 1.
We arrived! We ran right off the boat.
And right onto another, much smaller boat to St. George on the other side of the island.
Here we go!
Bye boat!
It was cool inside, but I needed to be outside with the fresh air.
It was about an hour ride.
The kids were having fun.
We arrived!
This is one of the oldest settlements in the Western Hemisphere by Europeans.
Such a cute place.
We then walked up to the local bus.
Which we took to the Crystal Caves. The stop was also in front of the Swizzle Inn where the famous Bermuda drink the swizzle was invented!
We waited out turn to see the cave.
Here we go! There was a long downward ramp then 88 steps!
They said over and over again not to touch anything. The first thing Aden did was touch something.
The rock above is limestone. The water drains through and makes the stalagtites.
That's a mix of fresh water and ocean water.
Such a pretty place.
Eli was amazed.
Then we took another city bus into the main city Hamilton. Those bus rides are something. The roads are narrow and windy. I felt like we were in a video game. We passed by a cemetary and some huge, beautiful houses.
We made it to Hamilton.
We walked to the harbor.
Such a cute town.
We picked a random restaurant for dinner.
The waiter and food were great!
I had my first swizzle and I liked it! It was strong, I felt it.
We then walked to the ferry.
Bermuda!
Onto the the ferry.
Such beautiful houses and hotels around the harbor.
It was a quick 15 minute trip.
Back to the boat.
We walked around the harbor area.
There was a cool fort there.
That night, I went with Noah to kid's club for a bit.
It was a quiet night.
