The Patient Patient

Well, we had our first trip to the emergency room last night, but everything is fine. Aden had a cold the last few days but it was minor and we weren't worried. He woke up about an hour after falling asleep last night and he was having a hard time breathing. It sounded the like the cold had gone into his chest. We called the doctor and got a nurse who listened to him over the phone and said we should go to the hospital. They were very nice at St. Mary's and there was no wait. They said it was a minor croup cough and gave him some steroids to keep the breathing passages open, but it wasn't bad enough for a full treatment. Aden was great the whole time, just sat there looking around. They had video games and toys for the kids. We were back by 11:30 and Aden went right to sleep. I am staying home with him today.

Back to Sunday. Aden was ready for football! We couldn't get him away from the tv!

Why can't these games start already?

First let's go for a walk.

They are too clean, time to get them dirty!

Wait up mommy, you are walking too fast!

I need a break after that walk. I will just chill outside for a while. Aden did watch the Eagles win with me and even gave the touchdown sign.

After the game, we were out food shopping and Melissa called and suggested we bring our food there and make dinner, which we did.

We got to try out their new dishes.

A hug for aunt Melissa.
