Saturday morning, Melissa's uvula was swollen and she was uncomfortable. That's the thing that hangs down in the back of the mouth. I took her over to Shore Memorial where they gave her iv Benedryl and a steroid. They think it was some sort of allergic reaction. She's ok now but we are wondering what might have caused it. When we got back, I took my dad out on the waverunner.
Our cheering section.
That night, my parents and grandmother came over for dinner.
This is the life.
Cooper loves my mom.
Sunday morning we awoke to a crazy thunderstorm. It lasted for the better part of an hour. Aden ended up in bed with us. Cooper was very unhappy too.
Since it was rainy, we decided to take Aden to his first movie. Cars 2! We were not going to do 3d because we were not sure if Aden would wear the glasses but we gave it a try and he wore them the whole time. Adam and Brianna joined us.
He had a hard time holding the seat down so he watched most of the movie with his feet on either side of his face! He didn't seem to mind.
When it was over, he said, "that was a great movie!"
The movie was good but maybe a little too intense for kids. He loves the first Cars. He watches it over and over again while we are driving so I have it memorized. This one is totally different. Lunch was at Five Guys.
The rest of the weekend to follow...
