Woodloch

We had quite an adventure last weekend.  The schools were closed Monday and Tuesday so we decided to go for a long weekend in the Pocono Mountains.  We had long heard amazing things about the Woodloch Resort 3 hours north on the New York border.  Saturday, after the sports, we drove up.  Thankfully the boys slept most of the way.  It's a huge resort with several hotels, rental units and private houses.  It's spread over miles and includes 2 lakes and a golf course.  Our room was right on a lake.
We got there in time for dinner.
We walked past the lake to the main lodge.
 We were greeted by characters.
They were not scared for once!
The dining room was huge and full.  Turns out the resort was a complete sell out for the weekend.

The food was good.  Kind of like a cruise ship.  They will bring you whatever you want on the menu.
Eli enjoyed the cake of course.

 The characters kept coming.

Ariel took care of her cousins the whole time.

 Baby bear in the lobby.
After dinner, we found an huge indoor play area.
We left Aden at the basketball courts.
The little ones got lost in there for a while, which was ok with us.
 He's back.

Magic show!  Both Noah and Ariel helped.
Sleeping was interesting each night.  We had 2 beds and a sleep sofa.  We tried different combinations.  This one didn't last very long.
Sunday morning it was dry but chilly.
At breakfast the owner joined us.  His parents started the place.  He was very nice.

 Outside to wander.
 There were some smaller playgrounds.
The outdoor activities didn't start till 10 so we hit the arcade.

 Bumper cars!

 Little kid cars.
Stay tuned for the rest of Sunday.
