So Much for Sleep

It's just about 10:00 on Tuesday night and the nurse just got here so I'm going to be really fast so I can go to sleep!  Last night was pretty bad.  We didn't sleep at all.  Oh no, the nurse just got a call, she's leaving!  She also helps with deliveries and someone's water just broke.  So much for sleep.

Friday morning we had some guests in bed.  I will spare Amy a picture of her but she worried she wouldn't be able to cuddle in bed with the twins after the morning feeding like she would always do with the other kids just because it might be too hard with two. With me there she was able to do it.
Under the blankets was the place to be.
The aftermath of the storm.
I took Ariel to school and headed to work.
Aden was off for a second day in a row and went ice cream and bowling with grandmom.
Ariel's teacher said she kept talking about a volcano she had a home.  They didn't know what she was talking about.  I figured it out when we got home.  It's a mold to build one!  I guess she found it.
Saturday morning was soccer.
Aden does better every week.  Too bad after next week, he won't be playing soccer again until September.

Ariel and Ryan couldn't be bothered.
After soccer I dropped off Aden at Jake's house.  Ariel wanted to stay and play with Lilly but we had to get home for her playdate with Sammy.
So glad they are still buddies even though they don't go to school together.

We had some visitors when we got home.
Such a big girl.  Loves to play with Ariel.

 Playing the ukelele.
I can shoot my own basket shots.

I just thought this was cute.

Winter's Last Gasp

It's Monday night and I forgot to mention that yesterday was Amy's due date!  Can you imagine if she carried those babies another 3 weeks?!?!  Last night we had the night nurse, which was awesome. We got some decent sleep.  She said the boys didn't sleep much which doesn't bode well for our night tonight.  Back to Thursday's blizzard.  Ariel was being very helpful in the morning.

Aden was excited for a snow day.  More time for Legos!
It snowed pretty hard all day.  They didn't plow our street till pretty late at night.

We needed to get out of the house.  The last time this Winter we need to bundle up like this.  I hope.
 Cute.
Let's go see what Beny and Winston are doing.
Snowball fight!
Everyone get the girl!

The kids had fun.
Time to go in and warm up.
Can't wait to get the bill from the landscaper.  He came twice to plow.

This is the view with the backdoor open,
 We got like 8 inches.

Last shot before dark.  It was in the upper 50's and sunny today.  It felt like Summer!  The snow is almost gone!

Dear Mother Nature

It's Sunday night and all I can say is I'm so happy the night nurse is here.  The last few nights were a bit rough.  The boys must be going through a growth spurt or something because they are not sleeping and just want to eat.  I'm not complaining though, everyone is healthy and I know this part will go quickly.  We were busy Saturday but Sunday it caught up with Amy and I and we didn't do much.

Hey guys!
I thought this was cute.  I guess Aden is ready for the warm weather too.
They are still not in their cribs, but that doesn't stop us from trying!
Let's go to synagogue for Purim services!
The boys listened to all the music.
There was a big crowd.  A band made up of kids provided all the music.

Aden was singing along.

Then is was time for the pizza party.  So last Sunday, at the Purim carnival, the twins were a big hit.
Not so much a few days later when there were 2 sets of baby triplets!  We were totally outdone.  Gives us something to shoot for next time!
We asked the moms all kinds of questions.  How do you feed them?  He gets 2, I get 1!  The 8 month olds are no sleeping through the night.
We are fine with 2 thank you.
Ariel disappeared.  We found her across the building.  She followed some bigger kids.  We really have to keep an eye on her.
The kids insisted on taking the babies to the car.
Some random pics from the rest of the week.  Sharing a Boppy!
 Sharing mommy.
 Playing with the boys' blocks.
Eli deep in thought.  We are getting way better at telling them apart.
